Role: Senior UX / Visual & Interaction Designer
Focus: Interaction Design, UX/UI, Visual Systems, Motion Design, Prototyping
I worked as the primary UX, visual, and motion designer on a small, highly collaborative three-person product team, partnering with a 3D artist and an iOS (Xcode) developer to design and ship two distinct Nike iPad applications. Both products required translating complex product and retail information into clear, visually compelling, and scalable experiences.
Product 1: Nike Golf Sales Enablement App
The first application functioned as a sales and education tool for Nike Golf, designed to help internal teams and retail partners understand new product launches. The experience combined interactive charts, motion-driven storytelling, 3D product visualization, and video to clearly communicate performance attributes, materials, and innovation.
From a UX perspective, the challenge was balancing depth of information with speed and clarity in a sales environment. I designed interaction models and visual hierarchies that allowed users to quickly navigate between high-level product narratives and detailed feature breakdowns, while motion and animation were used intentionally to reinforce product benefits rather than distract from them.
Product 2: Nike Retail Visualization App (Big Box Stores)
The second application was a retail planning and visualization tool built for Nike-branded sections within large retail environments. The app dynamically populated content based on what each affiliate ordered, generating a tailored view of how Nike products, fixtures, and branding should appear in physical retail space.
This required designing a flexible, data-aware UI system that could adapt to different product mixes while maintaining brand consistency. I led the UX/UI and motion direction to ensure the experience felt cohesive, intuitive, and aligned with Nike’s visual standards, while working closely with engineering to ensure real-time rendering and performance considerations were met.
Impact
Across both products, my role focused on connecting visual design, interaction patterns, and motion into a unified experience that supported business goals—whether accelerating sales conversations or improving retail execution. The work demonstrated how thoughtful UX and motion design can simplify complex systems, align cross-functional teams, and elevate how products are understood and presented.

Note: This case study highlights a focused subset of work from a six-month project that included extensive design exploration, iteration, and cross-functional collaboration.
